"The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared," tells the story of a man named Alan Carsol. This man lives in an old people`s home and has just turned a hundred. And just before the party of his hundred-year birthday starts, he climbs out of the window and disappeared.

The story in this book is divided into two parts. The first part tells you the story of the current situation. Where he set out on a journey after he climbed out of the window and steals a suitcase which turns out to contain a fortune.

The suitcase contains cash, that was paid to a group of bikers by a Russian organized crime syndicate for a drug deal. Since then, drug dealers have been trying to follow him and track down the money. And the police also have launched a nationwide search for Alan after a triple murder warrant was issued.

As the book progresses, Alan gathers a motley crew of an elephant as well as a really interesting but flawed character. As everyone can be one step ahead of the police for most of the book. The book also interspersed with flashbacks to Alan's life, describing how he unknowingly managed to stay in the right place at the wrong time and to influence a number of events and change the course of twentieth-century history.
