"I Too Had A Love Story" is a novel written by Ravindra Singh. This is an English autobiographical novel and was first published in 2008 by Shristi Publishers. In 2012 The novel was republished by Penguin India. This book was the debut novel of the author. The book remained in the best-sellers list even after 6 years of its publications.

The novel "I Too Had A Love Story" revolves around the story of Ravin and Khusi. They are the protagonist of the novel. The novel starts with a reunion in Kolkata of Ravin and his three male friends, who use to study in the same engineering college. The three male friends of Ravin are Munpreet, Amardeep, and Happy.

During their reunion, all the four boys discuss their plans to get married and all of them agreed that they did not think about it. happy suggest Ravin to visit and signup at Shaadi.Com, a matrimonial website.

After the reunion, Ravin comes back to Bhubaneswar. He works as an engineer for Infosys. He registers at Shaadi.com as suggested by Happy, his college friend and he finds a girl named Khushi. She lives in Delhi and works in C.S.C Noida.

Both Ravin and Khushi starts talking to each other over the phone and soon they became good friends. They find similarities in each other interests and within a few months, they start realizing that they are in love. Though they have not met face to face yet.

Within a few days, Ravin had to travel to the USA for an office assignment. He had a flight to the USA from Delhi. So he decided to reach Delhi day advance so that he could meet Khusi for the first time.

In Delhi Ravin meets Khushi and her family before starting his journey to the USA. During his stay in the USA, they both were in touch with each other over the phone. After he returns to India, they meet once again. After a few days, Khusi`s parents come to Bhubaneshwar to meet Ravin`s parents. And they decide a date for their engagement and both the family start preparing for the event.

Just before the engagement, Khusi meets with a road accident and despite all medical attempts and prayers, Khusi dies. The novel ends with Ravin`s narration "She died, I survived. Because I survived, I die every day".
