ONE NIGHT @ THE CALL CENTER is a novel written by Chetan Bhagat which is published in 2005. The novel says the story of a group of 6 call center employees, who work in the Connexion call center. One night of their life. And a call from god.

The author meets a beautiful girl on a night train journey from Kanpur to Delhi. First, the girl offers to tell a story but on condition. That is the author will have to write the story in his next novel.

At first, the author did not agree because how could he decide that without hearing the story. But the girl sticks to her point and just brief the story in phrases, "Six people, One night. And a call from God".

After hearing this the agree with the girl's condition with slight hesitation.

The story in the novel "ONE NIGHT @ THE CALL CENTER", where six people in a call center are 1) Shyam who is also the narrator of the story. 2) Priyank, Shyam loves Priyanka but she is planning an arranged marriage with someone else. 3) Vroom, who loves Esha. 4) Esha wants to be a model. She works in the call center in night shifts and prepares herself to be a model in day shifts. 5) Radhika is in an unhappy marriage with a demanding mother-in-law. 6) Military Uncle who have some problem with his son and grandson though he loves them very much.

One evening all six people went to a night party to enjoy themselves. When they were returning to the office there Qualis car meet an accident. It crushed it into a construction site.

The car was hanging from a mesh of construction iron rod. They panicked as the rods start to yield. They were unable to call for help because there was no network. But somehow suddenly Shyam`s phone started to ring, the phone call is from God, who speaks in modern English.

God speaks to all the six people stuck in the car, and suggest them to improve their lives, and also advise them how to get out from there.

The conversation motivates them in such a way that they get ready to face their own problems with absolute determination and motivation. And when they came out of the danger, they have clear goals in their minds.
