He is a Mechanical Engineer from the "Indian Institute of Technology"(IITs) New Delhi of 1995 batch. And after that in 1997, he did graduation from the "Indian Institute of Management" (IIM) Ahmedabad in M.B.A. Bhagat`s name came on The Times Magazine as world 100 influential people in the world in 2010.
Bhagat worked as an investment banker with Goldman Sachs company in Hong Kong for a decade. His first novel was published in 2004. , Later on, to focus full time on his writings career, he moved to Mumbai.
Books Of Chetan Bhagat.
The first novel of Chetan Bhagat was FIVE POINT SOMEONE, which came in the year 2004. ONE NIGHT @ CALL CENTER was his second novel that came in 2005.
Then in 2008, he wrote 3 MISTAKE OF MY LIFE, 2 States: The Story Of My Marriage, is the writer`s real-life love story.
The fifth book of Bhagat`s was REVOLUTION 2020 which came in 2009. In 2016 his seventh novel name is HALF GIRL FREIND. After that in the 2016 novel, ONE INDIAN GIRL published.
Then THE GIRL IN ROOM 105 came out in the year 2018. Apart from these novels, Chetan Bhagat writes nonfiction stories.
The first Nonfiction story is WHAT YOUNG INDIAN WANTS. MAKING INDIA AWESOME is his second nonfiction book. and the third nonfiction story he wrote was INDIA POSITIVE.
Personal Life Of Chetan Bhagat.
CHETAN BHAGAT is born on 22nd April 1974. He is born in a middle-class Punjabi family. His father was an Army personnel and his mother was a government employee.
Chetan Bhagat is married to Anusha Bhagat. Anusha is a Tamil girl from Chennai. She also went to IIM Ahmedabad for higher studies where they meet Chetan in the dining hall. From here their love story starts.
Unlike many others, they had to face hardships in convincing their parents to approve of their marriage. Finally, they get married in the year 1998 and they have twins sons, Ishan Bhagat and Shyam Bhagat.
