V For Vendetta is a graphic novel written by Alan More and it is illustrated by David Lloyd. The story in this book is taking place in an imagined England. England has just come out of nuclear war and is being ruled by a fascist government. This government has eliminated all its rivals and established England as a police state.

The main character of the story, who called himself as "V" is an anarchist revolutionary, who targets this fascist government in an attempt to bring it down. "V" is a mysterious person and wears a Guy Fawkes Musk.

The story in "V" For Vendetta" starts when one night three members of the state police of the fascist government were trying to rape a young 16 years old girl Evey Hammad. And "V" came to save her wearing a Guy Fawkes Musk as usual. A little into the story readers will soon come to know how "V" was once a victim of a cruel chemical experiment perform by this government. "V" sabotage and kills people everyone who had been involved in the chemical experiment. "V" wants the government is overthrown. The story will clear whether "V" managed to take revenge on everyone who was involved in the experiment.
