The Diary Of A Young Girl is also known as "The Diary Of Anne Frank". This is a book, that is written in the form of a diary by AnneFrank. The diary was originally written in Dutch language and was translated by B.M Moyaart Doubleday.

It was 1942 after Germany invaded the Netherlands. Anne frank a Jewish girl had to flee her homes in Amsterdam with her family and went into hiding. She was then only thirteen years old. They hide in an old warehouse building, where she wrote this book in the form of a diary entry. This is the diary that she got as a present on her 13th birthday. They lived there for two years until their whereabouts were exposed unfaithfully to the secret state police of Nazi Germany. During their hideout, they were totally cut out from the outside world, they had to face hunger, boredom, and the ever-present threat of being discovered and death. In the diary, Anne recorded a lively impression of her experience during these periods.

In 1944 they were the family was apprehended and when Anne was fifteen she died in Bergen-Belsen. Otto Frank, Ann e`s father was the only family member who survives the holocaust. After the world war, Otto returns to Amsterdam, where he finds his daughter`s diary. It was then published as "The Diary Of A Young Girl".
