The novel "Murder On The Orient Express" tells the story of a journey of The Orient Express. This was the elegant train of the 1930s, which use to run on a route from Istambul to London.
One night during its journey from Istambul to London, a snowdrift stuck the train on its track. The train was surprisingly completely booked for the time of the year. The next morning when the train was still stuck in the snow a passenger named Ratchett, a businessman from America was found dead inside his first-class cabin. He was sabbed a dozen times and the door of his cabin was locked from inside. The famous Belgian detective, Hercule who was also traveling on the same train starts investigating the case to identify the murderer.
